The Project Details page is the home view for your project in Duio. It provides an immediate overview of essential project information, current production status, and quick access to key tools. This page is always the first thing you and your team see when entering a project, whether for the first time or after returning later.

This documentation explains what each section of the Project Details page represents and how you can use it effectively.

Overview

The Project Details page is divided into several key sections:

  • Header Information

  • Project Metadata

  • Production Overview

  • Project Tools

  • Project Supporters

Each section communicates important project context and helps you navigate deeper into Duio’s feature set.

Header Information

At the top of the Project Details page, you will see:

Project Title and Description

This area displays:

  • The project’s title you chose during setup

  • The description you provided to communicate the project’s purpose, genre, or creative direction

This section helps anyone viewing your project immediately understand its intent and scope.

Project Metadata

Directly below the header, you will find structured information that describes your project’s identity, platform, and status.

Design Document Button

If a Game Design Document (GDD) or a Duio AI-assisted project overview has been uploaded or generated, a button labeled Design Document appears here.

Clicking this button opens the document for review.

If no GDD exists, this area is replaced with the Upload/Manage GDD option.

Upload / Manage GDD

When no design document exists:

  • You will see a button labeled Upload/Manage GDD

  • Clicking this allows you to upload a new document or generate a GDD using Duio’s AI Assist

This ensures your project always has a central design reference.

Team Building Status

Visible to project admins only, this field shows whether the project is open for team building.

This status reflects:

  • Whether other users can request to join the project

  • Whether invitations can be issued

  • The current team access restrictions (e.g., public vs. verified roles only)

Understanding this status helps you control how new members interact with your project.

Structured Project Attributes

These fields summarize the core characteristics of your project:

Published Date

Shows the date the project was created on Duio. This is unaffected by later edits to project information.

Maturity Rating

Displays the maturity rating you defined during setup.

Play Style

Indicates the playstyle category chosen for the game (for example, exploration-oriented, competitive, narrative).

Game Engine Type

Displays the game engine selected during setup (e.g., Unity, Unreal, Godot).

Added Search Tags

A list of tags associated with your project. These tags help categorize your project and improve discoverability on the platform.

Added Platforms

Lists the platforms your game is intended to launch on (for example, PC, mobile, console).

Invite Links

Invite links allow admins to generate and manage links that other users can use to join the project.

When generating an invite, you can choose:

  • Whether the link is public or private

  • How long the link remains active

These links are especially useful for team building and onboarding new collaborators.

Production Overview

The Production Overview section provides a snapshot of where your project stands in terms of schedule and progress.

This section includes:

Key Dates and Progress

  • Project creation date

  • Launch date

  • Time remaining until launch

This gives you a quick view of how your project timeline is shaping up.

Current Phase and Task Count

You can select the current phase of development, and Duio displays how many tasks are associated with that phase.

This helps track progress and focus attention on what matters next.

Quick Navigation

Direct navigation links are provided to:

  • Phases

  • List View

  • Timeline View

  • Board View

These links serve as shortcuts into your Production Board workflows.

Project Tools

The Project Tools section organizes tools related to project management and promotion.

These tools are typically visible only to admin users:

Manage Job Post

Opens the interface for creating and updating job postings associated with your project.

Manage Public Post

Allows you to create public posts about project updates, milestones, or announcements.

Manage Activities and Events

Provides access to scheduling and tracking project-related activities or events.

These tools help you build and maintain engagement both within your team and with others in the Duio community.

Project Supporters

The Project Supporters section lists users who have used Duio Boost Points to support your project.

Boosted projects are given increased visibility within the Duio ecosystem, and supporters are recognized here.

This section reflects community interest and engagement with your project.

Use Cases

The Project Details page is useful for:

  • Understanding what your project is and where it’s headed

  • Checking timeline and phase status at a glance

  • Accessing key management tools without navigating away

  • Showing essential project context to collaborators and viewers alike

This page functions as the central dashboard for both project insight and quick navigation into detailed workflows.
