The Project Dashboard is the central hub for everything related to a project in Duio. It provides access to planning, production, collaboration, files, and creative tools, all organized around a single project.
This page gives a high-level overview of each major section available from the Project Dashboard. Each section will be explained in more detail in dedicated documentation pages.
Project Details
The Project Details page provides a high-level overview of your project and is the default landing page when you open a project or return to it later.
Key elements include:

Project title and description
Displays the project’s core identity and purpose. -
Design Document access
Shows a Design Document button if a Game Design Document (GDD) or AI-assisted document is available. -
Upload or manage GDD
Displays options to upload or manage a GDD if no document currently exists. -
Team Building status (Admins only)
Indicates whether team building features are enabled for the project. -
Published date
Shows the date the project was created on Duio. -
Maturity rating
Displays the selected maturity rating for the project. -
Play style
Shows the defined play style for the game. -
Game engine type
Indicates the engine selected during project setup. -
Search tags
Displays tags associated with the project for discovery and categorization. -
Platforms
Lists the platforms the project is intended to launch on. -
Invite links
Allows project owners to create and manage invite links that can be public or private.
Production Overview
The Production Overview section summarizes timeline-related information and provides quick navigation into production tools.
It includes:

Project creation date

Target launch date

Time remaining until launch

Option to set the current active phase

Task count for the selected phase

This section is designed for quick status checks and fast navigation.
Project Tools
The Project Tools section provides access to administrative and public-facing tools (Admins only).
Available tools include:

Manage job posts
-
Manage public posts
-
Manage project activities and events
These tools help promote, staff, and maintain project visibility.
Project Supporters
The Project Supporters section displays users who have used Boost Points to support and elevate the project’s visibility on the platform.
This section reflects community engagement and backing.
Production Board
The Production Board is where project planning and execution take place. It supports multiple synchronized views for managing phases, milestones, and tasks.
Production Board – List View
The List View is focused on structured task management within phases and milestones.
Key behaviors:

Admins are prompted to create a phase or select a preset template on first visit

Phases are displayed in the header or dropdown (mobile)
-
Admins can add phases or milestones from the header
-
If a phase has no milestones, a prompt encourages milestone creation
-
Tasks are created within milestones and inherit milestone colors
-
Task details such as members, dates, priority, and status are visible at a glance
Clicking a task opens its full detail view, where members can collaborate, upload content, and comment.
Production Board – Timeline View
The Timeline View provides a time-based visualization of tasks.
Key capabilities:

View how tasks are distributed and overlap across time
-
Drag task edges to adjust start or end dates
-
Drag task centers to move both start and end dates
-
Pan and zoom the timeline for better visibility
-
Filter tasks by phase or milestone
-
View project-level time data such as launch date and time remaining
This view is useful for scheduling, planning, and spotting conflicts.
Production Board – Board View
The Board View presents tasks in a kanban-style layout organized by status.
Key features:

Drag tasks between status columns to update progress
-
Reorder tasks or columns freely
-
Create new status columns with custom titles and colors
-
Add new tasks directly to a status column
-
Edit or remove status columns (Admins only)
Tasks display key metadata and can be opened for full detail and editing.
Vision Board
Vision Boards are collaborative, freeform canvases used for ideation and concept development.
High-level capabilities include:

Creating multiple boards per project
-
Drawing shapes, lines, and annotations
-
Adding content layers such as labels and cards
-
Linking content layers together visually
-
Uploading images, audio, and YouTube videos
-
Saving board snapshots
Vision Boards support both structured planning and creative exploration.
Project Files
Project Files allow teams to upload, organize, and share assets.
Overview features:

Asset collections for grouping files

Uploading files with titles and descriptions
-
Downloading, editing, or deleting assets
-
Managing collection visibility
-
Viewing used and available storage space
Project Files act as a shared asset hub for the entire team.
Team
The Team section shows everyone involved in the project and supports collaboration.
From this page, team members can:

View other members’ public portfolios

Send direct messages

Filter members by role
Admins can:

Assign members to tasks

Manage permissions
-
Adjust member settings
This section helps keep collaboration transparent and organized.
